LGBT POV

Many in the LGBT community are happy about the victories in Washington state and Kalamazoo, but absolutely devastated by the loss in Maine – with promises of more antigay battles to come.

This whole day on LGBT POV will be devoted to posts from different people about their reaction to the loss and ideas about what to do next. I’m going to chime in as well.

But first, Frontiers In LA reporter Peter DelVecchio sent me this wonderfully saucy and politically incorrect little video from character Mrs. Betty Bowers – kind of a comic ‘Mad Men’ version of a snarky Lily Tomlin character who calls herself “America’s Best Christian.”

THIS is what the National Organization for Marriage is fighting for. PLEASE watch. We need some laughter.
